This is the most important
need. Constant and consistent prayer is the foundation
on which C4LCanada is built. The leadership and training
programs and activities of the staff at C4L facilitates
in Southern Africa involves constant contact with
individuals living in a stressful environment. The
uncertainty of their daily lives requires special skills
and sensitive ears. Please pray for the leaders and
staff at C4L.
To maintain and grow the
existing ministry will require a special focus on
developing a broad support base of individuals,
corporate and governmental donors. Donations can be made

Express
your solidarity with C4L in terms of the need for
capacity building and training by writing letters to the
press, to your MP, to CIDA - This will strengthen our
position to influence and affirm that C4L Canada exists
.
Seek opportunities to
share the C4L Canada story. This maybe in your social
circle, your church or your professional networking
environment. Where ever you are, there are many
opportunities to introduce the good news of what C4L is
doing in Southern Africa. Invite a C4L Canada
representatives to speak or present at a meeting.
Community groups such as Church groups, Rotary clubs, Optimists,
Jaycees, Lions, and Kiwanis are good locations for C4L
Canada to present at. You could also run a fundraising
program yourself.
One way
of contributing is to transfer some of your air miles to
C4L Canada. These will be used to facilitate personnel
traveling to and from South Africa on deputation,
facilitation and communication.
